How many of you celebrate Taco Tuesday on a regular basis? Whether you’re cooking or going out, we think it’s a fun way to break up the week. Nothing like a little fiesta on a Tuesday! We thought we’d share some of our favorite recipes, dinner and drinks! Of course, we have some adorable products to show off that will definitely spice up your night.
Let’s start with a drink! Something light and refreshing. The Juan Collins is a twist on the classic Tom Collins. This crisp, refreshing cocktail combines tequila, fresh lemon juice, agave syrup, and soda water, and is perfect for people looking for a sweet and sour tequila mixed drink. Cheers!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz. (45ml) Tequila
- 1 oz. (30ml) Freshly Lemon Juice
- 1/2 oz. (15ml) Agave Syrup
- Top with Soda Water
- Garnish: Lemon Slice
Since this fiesta falls on a Tuesday, we like to keep things simple and quick for dinner! That’s why these Mexican Steak Tacos are the best. Here’s what you need:
Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin steak
- 1 pack sazon seasoning
- 1 onion
- 2 limes
- Cilantro
- Flour tortillas
Simply cook the steak to your liking in a pan with some olive oil. Add in the pack of sazon seasoning. Serve with lime, chopped cilantro, and chopped onion. Add rice or beans as a side and you’re good to go.

We moved to DBS August 2017. Hands down, The Posh is what brings me back to Canal Street often, usually with a friend or two. Cheryl has such an eye when it comes to buying. I love the varied selection of items and I find myself smiling, if not laughing out loud, at the clever cocktail napkins and dish/tea towels! I could, literally spend hours perusing, looking for, and finding, that and perfect gift for a friend or relative! Snap, Crackle, and Pop always greet me with their sweet songs. Cheryl is warmly welcoming and has trained her staff to follow her lead. I genuinely feel welcome every time I walk in! That’s something that doesn’t happen much anymore.
I’m a Nota Fleming freak! But, although I have about 20 minis, there seems to always be something new! And the display is irresistible. I’m excited about the expansion and look forward to its opening.
