Tasty margaritas look great in our Happy Everything pitcher from Mud Pie.
Hola! With the weather getting warmer, I can not tell you how much I have been enjoying the sun! My family has been walking the beach, celebrating sunsets and are welcoming this spring weather with open arms. Yay! I don't like the cold weather....at all.
When it warms up, I love to have friends and family over. One of my favorite meals to serve is Mexican. I make lots of food so no one leaves hungry. And, of course, the meal isn't complete and simply tastes better with margaritas! Don't you agree? Ole! :)
I get my trusty old blender out and whip up a couple batches of these margaritas named after a friend of mine's husband. (I should probably change this to "Cheryl's "Now Famous" Margaritas" soon...I don't know why I haven't already.)
Anyway, try them at your next gathering and let me know what you think. I love this recipe because it's super easy and tastes great!
Mike's "Now Famous" Margaritas
- 6 oz. can frozen limeade
- 6 oz. tequila
- capful of triple sec (yep, take the cap off, fill it and dump it in!)
- ice cube, fill to top of blender
- Salt for rims of glasses
Fill blender with ice. Put all ingredients in and blend until smooth! (My blender is getting fussy, so I fill it half way with ice, put in the can of limeade, then top off with ice.) Little umbrellas with a wedge of lime make these extra special!
I hope you all have a Posh, salty week,
Cheryl
PS - Don't forget to salt the rims of the glasses!
